About Elizabeth
I am Liz, a daughter and mother..
I have been teaching since 2002.
I took a break from teaching to become a foster Carer for teenagers.
I missed teaching and so after a placement I returned to teaching.
I’m very easy going, friendly, and try my best to make work as interesting as possible.
I understand that pupils have had difficult times which is why I teach only SEN and excluded pupils.
I’m very down to earth and get on well with all my pupils and families and Carers.

As I now have come from the classroom to one to one I can get the level of learning and style right for each individual.
I style work to what pupils like so they become more interested an this helps pupils to engage better so learn more.
For example; if a pupil loves certain things. Football, superhero’s, I can cover different aspects of English around this.
Literacy, I will give them a list of films and let them choose.
All these strategies encourage deeper understanding, learning and engagement.
