About Yoshimi
I am an International Baccalaureate alumnus (HLs English Literature, History, Visual Arts; SLs Biology, Mathematics, German Ab Initio) currently studying English BA in UCL. I was a tutor for my peers in high school for various subjects, and have experience proofreading essays and tackling standardized exams. I am also fluent in Japanese and willing to provide beginner or intermediate level classes. I have background in language acquisition, so I am able to provide assistance in grasping the English language.

My lessons are aimed towards GSCE/IB/A-level students, especially those needing some help in languages and the humanities. I approach lessons by first clarifying what the student does not understand and explaining the concept, giving different examples in which to apply the concept, then covering the knowledge around it to give a holistic understanding. I try to incorporate fun examples and exercises applicable to daily life, so hopefully what you learn will be useful!
