I am an undergraduate student at the University of Toronto double-majoring in English and Philosophy. I have been in advanced placement English since the 11th grade with extensive experience in reading and understanding literature, along with essay writing and editing.

My teaching methods are fairly extensive, I choose to approach literature from a point which a student is comfortable. I will access the prior knowledge of my students and build an appropriate lesson plan from that point. I believe that approaching texts beginning with summaries and continuing with more in-depth ideas is a good approach to ensure thorough understanding. I am also more than happy to aid with writing and editing essays, along with aiding to improve general writing skills and building good writing habits.
