About Santino
I am a student at the University of Wuppertal and am studying English and religion to become a teacher. I work as a part-time job in a tutoring institute and therefore already have experience with online tutoring and in dealing with schoolchildren of all ages. I've been learning English since the 3rd grade and have attended a bilingual school, with which I also did an exchange with a Dutch school, where we had to communicate in English all the time. My grades in English were always between 1 and 2 and I graduated from high school with an NC of 2.5.

I always adapt my teaching method to the respective student by explicitly addressing the linguistic weaknesses and grammar gaps and addressing them in a targeted manner. Most of the time I discuss with the student what weaknesses he / she has and then tackle one problem at a time. All of this should happen at a pace so that the student is not too stressed and does not feel pressured. I usually work on grammatical gaps in such a way that I explain the rules (of a tense, for example) and go through them with the student until they are understood. Then I give tasks on the respective topic in order to deepen the topic and secure it with the help of sample exercises. The most important thing about tutoring is communication and friendliness. I am very happy to respond to my students and am very understanding of the respective learning pace of the student.
