About Ayaz
Hi, I’m Ayaz, an experienced and dedicated English tutor specialising in GCSE and A-Level. During my GCSEs, I was initially predicted grade 4s. However, by identifying my weaknesses and refining my approach to analysis, structure, and exam technique, I was able to turn things around, ultimately achieving grades 7–9 across my subjects with two 9s in English. This journey has shaped the way I teach. I don’t just focus on content, I help students understand how to improve, breaking down complex skills into clear, manageable steps. During sixth form, I worked as an academic mentor, supporting students who were aiming to secure top grades. I provided tailored guidance in both English Language and Literature, helping them build confidence, improve their writing, and master exam strategies. As a result, my mentees went on to achieve strong grade 8s in both subjects.
