About Ceren

The idea for this activity developed as I discovered the French environment around childcare (associative nurseries, cafes for children, shows for children, musical awakening activities). In particular, my activity for two years in my daughter's associative crèche allowed me to further improve my contact with children and to see the essential role of play and motivation in children's learning. In addition, I started to give private English lessons, through an expert company. I then gradually had this idea of putting my linguistic knowledge, developed during my 13 years spent in the United States, at the service of a fun learning system, built around play and especially focused around points of interest of children. I trust not only my language skills, but also my interpersonal skills, both with children and parents. In a context where French parents increasingly want their children to learn English from a very young age, my technical and interpersonal skills, my rigor and the importance I attach to the quality of my work allow me to develop a network in my neighborhood. My project differs from existing services on the market by its tailor-made aspect and by its focus on children's interests. My approach favors the pleasure of the child. To do this, she uses workshops, games, songs, etc. all tailor-made in accordance with children's interests. Thus, learning is not imposed on the child as an external constraint, but takes shape in playful activities already appreciated by the child. I have a Masters in Audiovisual Production from Webster University in St. Louis, USA. I lived and worked in the United States for 13 years. I have been giving English lessons to children, adolescents and adults for 8 years. I am very comfortable in multicultural and multilingual environments. I am trilingual. I have lived in several countries: Austria, Czech Republic, United States, Turkey. I have also made long trips to Latin America, Japan and Europe. My passions are cooking, French savate and hiking. About the lesson

These English courses and workshops are a moment of educational exchange intended to optimize the learning and the maintenance of the level of English thanks to playful activities allowing the repetition and the immersion of the expressions of the daily newspaper. For toddlers (3 years old and +): Private lessons at home: By considering an educational support adapted not only to the age but also to the level of English of your child, I use games, picture books, songs, readings, crafts and other resources for your child to learn English while having fun. Home group workshop: The English workshops are creative and fun. Learning takes place around group games (board games, role-playing games, songs, dance, etc.) and manual activities (painting, crafts, origami, etc.) based on the interests of your children. The discovery of the language is easier and more natural through play and recreational and interactive activities. Group workshops are carried out with a maximum of 3 children and last 30 min, 45 min or 1 hour depending on the child's age. For adolescents: Private lessons at home: By using educational support adapted to your child's age and level of English, I can help your child to: improve his oral and written comprehension as well as his oral and written expression; gain self-confidence in the language; monitor and support their school activity; prepare for an academic or methodical examination; while making him work on the subjects which fascinate him and by making him want to learn and speak English.
