My teaching methods are always based on the ability and the personality of the student and the level I am teaching. For younger level students of 4 years of age I use Props, (TPR) Total Physical Response, Role Play, Songs, Activities and games to keep them focused and motivated. For more advanced student I use mostly conversational methods to keep them focused on speaking the English language throughout the lesson and will always have a positive effect as the student finishes the lesson feeling confident and satisfied. A usual lesson for example for a beginner level student will include props like puppets and role play, a lot of energy using TPR and smiling as much as possible. Constantly reviewing the material in the lesson especially new vocabulary and encouraging students to speak giving them examples and using props for role play and activities. I think the one most important factor that makes me a special teacher is that I always make an attempt to empathize with my student and will make them feel special by rewarding them continuously throughout the lesson. My goal as a teacher is to make my student feel confident and to use the skills they have learned on a daily basis.
