My Methods and Techniques- I try to get to know each student and really understand their goals and learning style. Then we make a plan for how to make progress. Beyond that, I take a student-centered, communicative approach to language learning. I focus on real-world application—whether that means preparing for tests (TOEFL and IELTS), college coursework, job interviews, or professional communication. My goal is to build both language competence and confidence. I incorporate a variety of techniques, including structured conversation practice, pronunciation work, academic writing development, grammar practice, vocabulary development strategies, and error correction with clear, supportive feedback. I often use authentic materials such as articles, job descriptions, and videos to help students engage with English in meaningful, relevant ways.
