I am an experience jewelry artist, having taught jewelry-making classes for several years. I like to work mostly with beads and wire, but I like other materials too.

About NICOLA
My name is Nicola. I am born British, but now I live in Ontario, Canada.
I starting making jewelry when I was about 10 years old. My Mum took me to a local craft shop and I pick out a colourful array of tiny tubes of seed beads, some of which I still have today! I made necklaces that broke and bracelets that were always too big or too small.
But lessons were learned. I moved on to bigger beads and better cording and I even sold a few pieces.
Into adulthood, I learned wire wrapping, wire crochet, working with chains, stones, and so much more. I also love repurposing old jewelry and if anyone has broken jewelry, they come to me. Out come the handy plyers and a few jump rings and the issue is usually solved.

I am an enthusiastic beader, as well as an enthusiastic teacher. I communicate well and I am sure that you and I can enjoy our time together.
Having worked as the Beading Instructor for a well-known craft supply chain, I am used to building lessons for several students at one time, or sometimes, for one-on-one sessions.
But I like to ask questions to learn my student's likes and dislikes, and will alter the material accordingly.
