About S
I am an experienced Primary Maths teacher for parents who want their child to be nurtured as well as challenged. I have spent over 10 years at a top London private school. I have tutored for many years, with many families. In the main, referrals have been made only by word of mouth. My client's children have experienced a new found love of Maths and an improvement in their confidence and competence, thus resulting in applications to choice secondary schools being successful.

Teaching is like marketing in that we want children to be curious and want to learn. I use a variety of methods to engage, excite and focus the children each lesson. Once initial assessments have been made to establish base lines and gaps, work is built up from their comfort zone to ensure academic rigour and progression. I use Singapore Maths and traditional methods as well as investigations to improve understanding and capabilities.
