About George
I am a 21 year old Veterinary Medicine and Science student in my third year at the University of Surrey with a fully up to date DBS check. I achieved 13 A and A* grades at GCSE in 2015 and achieved an A* and A grade in A-level Biology and Chemistry, respectively, in 2017. I have over two years face-to-face experience of teaching GCSE and A-level students of all abilities, allowing them to exceed their expectations and achieve their true potential.

I teach Chemistry at GCSE and A-level with an engaging and informative style, on average adding 1.5 grades from my student's initial predicted grades. I have always believed that consolidation and feedback are the most important factors in teaching. Improving grades and simultaneously increasing confidence allows my students to have the knowledge and mindset to surpass their targets and achieve their true potential. Any gaps in my student's knowledge will be filled before mastering the exam technique to really achieve the top marks in their exams.

George tutored me in AQA A-level biology in 2019. Not only did he help me get into uni with a grade B, but he gave me a massive confidence boost in the process!
George was very methodical with his teaching method and gave me the confidence to excel.
After struggling with my biology in my first year of A levels I decided to get in contact with a tutor and couldn't of got a better one. George immediately created a friendly and relaxed environment, this combined with his great knowledge of the biology syllabus provided an excellent platform for me to learn. He also provided me with some effective revision techniques that I will be sure to use in the future.
