About Tina

Hi, I’m Tina! With over 25 years of experience as an educator — including 15 years at NAIT’s JR Shaw School of Business — I’ve had the privilege of helping students from all walks of life discover their voice and achieve their goals. My background also includes HR recruitment, so I know exactly what instructors, employers, and organizations look for in strong writing and confident communication.

Why I Love What I Do
One of my proudest moments in my career was watching more than 140 high school students I had personally coached and mentored stand proudly on stage to receive scholarships and awards for presenting their own sustainability-focused global solutions in innovative three-minute pitch videos. Seeing their confidence and creativity shine that day reminded me why I’m passionate about helping students find their voice.
