About Elizabeth
I have just finished my teaching experience in Spain where I taught 4 - 18 year olds in my own classes, 5 days a week, improving English skills and focusing mainly on speaking. I also completed a post graduate course in Bilingual Education at the UIC in Barcelona and gave private tuition sessions in the evenings.
I have a BSc hons degree in Psychology and Child Development and have worked in care homes and schools for challenging children in the past.

I like to start classes with a 'question of the day' to get us talking about your true opinions which is a great way to discover new English vocabulary as you want to communicate your views to me.
The main focus of my sessions is to encourage you to overcome language barriers by explaining and describing things to find the answer together as a team.
You will feel more confident and capable to not only speak English, but also to make mistakes and manage the obstacles of communicating that come from learning a new language.
I try to incorporate at least two of the main skills in each class for example reading, writing, listening and speaking.
The best way to learn a language is to have genuine conversations with a native speaker with whom you feel comfortable. My personality makes people feel very relaxed and empowered to succeed.
