I’ve always loved tutoring and meeting new students. I am naturally a great listener, communicator and people’s person so with teaching I think it’s always great to build a rapport with the students you are teaching. As a passionate English tutor with a background in journalism, I specialize in helping students develop strong communication skills, refine their writing, and build confidence in English. My journalism studies have equipped me with a deep understanding of language, storytelling, and critical thinking, which I incorporate into my teaching approach. As an English tutor with a journalism background, my lessons are dynamic, interactive, and tailored to each student’s learning style. I focus on real-world applications of language, making lessons both practical and engaging. I always make sure is that my lessons are engaging to each student - as I understand that some students struggle with paying attention or getting bored quickly it’s important to make sure they are fully engaged as well as learning. Also listening to exactly what they struggle with and their needs while adapting to that is just as important.
