Hi, I'm an experienced English tutor with a Master's degree in Creative Writing and have covered over 9 years of dedicated tutoring. I specialise in helping primary school pupils, GCSE students, and adult learners develop the skills and confidence they need to succeed.
Throughout my teaching career, I have worked with students of varying abilities, learning styles, and backgrounds. My lessons are tailored to each student's individual needs, goals, and learning style. Whether it's for a primary school pupil building confidence in reading and writing, a GCSE student aiming for top grades, or an adult looking to improve English for work, help with IELTS Speaking tests, study, or personal development. I create engaging and supportive lessons that help you make measurable progress.
I hold a Master's degree in Creative Writing and have over 9 years of tutoring experience, helping students of all ages develop stronger reading, writing, comprehension, grammar, and communication skills. My background allows me to combine academic expertise with creativity, making lessons both effective and enjoyable.
My teaching approach focuses on building confidence alongside skills. I break down complex concepts into clear, manageable steps and use a variety of resources, targeted exercises, discussion, and practical examples to ensure learning is accessible and engaging. For exam students, I provide structured support with exam technique, essay writing, comprehension, and revision strategies to maximise performance.
