About Paige
Having studied English Language and Linguistics at university I initially set out to become a teacher. However after interning at a PR & Comms agency, I was offered a job before graduating which allowed me to enter this industry as soon as I'd finished university. This industry relies heavily on how you use the English language to communicate to varying audiences (stakeholders to consumers), to sell ideas in a concise yet engaging way, and to protect/promote a brand reputation - managing all written comms for said brands. This allowed me to execute my skills in writing and language daily, and in the absence of becoming a teacher, I'd like to tutor students as this is a true passion of mine.

Teaching 1-1 or in groups, I tailor each session to the pupil(s) to ensure the lessons are both engaging and educational. Mapping the lessons against their curriculum, my lessons provide an opportunity to give the students a deeper understanding of each topic and put their skills into practice. Lessons can last from 30 minutes - 1 hour, and parents have the opportunity to review the lesson plans before each session. Homework can also be set if required by the parent/student. Ages range from 6-16, teaching students with varying abilities. Previously students have gone on to be accepted into private schools and have passed their exams including 11+ - and so I am happy to support upcoming exams, prepping sessions specifically for those tests. With 3-4 years' experience in tutoring, I now have an opening to add a handful of new students into the rota so do get in touch if interested!
