About Kieran
Hi, I’m Kieran
I have over 5 years’ experience as a full-stack developer, having worked in fintech and cybersecurity startups. My focus is on solving practical problems and delivering reliable solutions that are clean and scaleable.
Outside of my professional work, I volunteer as a mentor at a coding bootcamp, helping aspiring developers land their first industry roles. I also have experience mentoring junior developers in my teams, guiding them as they develop their skills.
My core languages are JavaScript and PHP, and I primarily use React on the front end and Laravel on the back end. However, I have experience with lots of other different languages and frameworks and consider myself language agnostic. I’m like to be flexible with technology choices depending on the needs of the project as getting to learn new things is part of what makes being a software developer enjoyable!
As a tutor, I’m easy-going and supportive. Whether you’re looking to secure your first role in tech or simply improve your programming skills, I’ll adapt to your goals and let you use our time in the way that benefits you most.
