About Carol
Having taught in schools since 1998, I am certainly an experienced, or maybe just old, secondary English teacher up to GCSE! I have taught the full range of ability and all exam boards and am always proud of my students when they achieve their potential, whatever that may be. My background is in Language but I love poetry and Shakespeare and my favourite modern play is 'An Inspector Calls'.

I get to know my students and try to base my teaching around areas that may interest them although the exam board limits us sometimes. I am firm but friendly and use oral and written tasks to ensure students are progressing.
