About Penny

I hold a B.S. in European History and an M.A. in Classical and Ancient History, and I am currently pursuing my PhD in History, where my dissertation examines Native American civil rights, sovereignty, and the legal battles that shaped modern Indigenous advocacy. My academic work also includes extensive research on ancient cultures, with a master’s thesis focused on the ancient Norsemen, exploring their society, belief systems, and cultural influence. In addition, I have conducted in-depth study of ancient mythology across civilizations, analyzing how myth shaped political power, identity, and worldview. Beyond academia, I am a published author of multiple books across historical and educational genres, blending scholarly research with accessible storytelling. I bring this wide-ranging expertise, cultural awareness, and passion for history into every lesson, helping students see both the depth and the humanity of the past.

Hi! I’m a passionate historian and educator with advanced academic training and years of experience teaching, tutoring, and designing curriculum.

I hold a B.S. in European History, a M.A. in Classical & Ancient History and am currently pursuing my PhD in History. I have taught a wide range of students—from homeschool learners and high school students to college-level scholars—helping them build strong critical thinking skills, master historical writing, and truly understand the “why” behind events.
