About Surabhi
Hello! I'm a passionate mathematics tutor with over five years of teaching experience across India and Canada. Alongside my teaching, I work full-time as a wireless communications engineer, where analytical thinking, logical reasoning, and problem-solving are part of my everyday work.
I currently teach students following the Ontario curriculum and Singapore Math, helping them develop a strong conceptual understanding of mathematics rather than relying on memorization. My lessons are designed to help students understand the why behind mathematical ideas, enabling them to approach new problems with confidence and independence.
Every student learns differently, so I tailor my lessons to each learner's pace, strengths, and goals. Whether a student needs support with school mathematics, wants to strengthen foundational concepts, or is looking for greater confidence in problem solving, I aim to create a supportive, encouraging, and engaging learning environment.
I also have a growing interest in mathematical enrichment and competitive mathematics, and I enjoy introducing students to thoughtfully chosen problems that develop logical reasoning, creativity, and perseverance. I believe these skills not only help students succeed in mathematics but also foster curiosity and confidence that extend well beyond the classroom.

Surabhi is an extremely dedicated, sincere and hardworking person, and she puts her level best effort in every task she takes up. She has been passionate about yoga since quite some years, and I've seen her being excited and determined about the practises, as well as her love for spreading the word about the same.
