About Sylvie
I’m a passionate Chemistry tutor with 4 years of experience helping high school and college students succeed. Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of teaching 150-200 students, guiding them through complex topics and exam preparation. My goal is to make Chemistry interesting and accessible, showing students its real-world applications. I believe in creating a positive, motivating learning environment where students feel confident in their abilities. One of my proudest achievements is seeing my students not only improve their grades but also develop a genuine love for the subject.

My teaching methodology for Chemistry focuses on making the subject practical, engaging, and easy to understand. I believe in motivating my students by creating a positive learning environment where they feel encouraged to ask questions and explore new concepts. Problem-solving is a key part of my teaching style, and I focus on helping students build critical thinking skills that will serve them in exams and beyond.
Flexibility is important in my teaching. I adjust my approach to meet each student’s needs, whether they need extra help with a specific topic or are preparing for exams. Integrity is at the core of my teaching—I always provide honest, clear feedback and ensure a supportive, respectful relationship with each student. My goal is to help students master Chemistry and gain confidence in their abilities.
