About Michael

I am a experienced musician who has been playing shows all over china. I also run free DAW workshops in wellington. Like you, music is my passion and there is nothing else I would rather be doing then working on a beat or preforming.

I have also been teaching for over 5 years so I'm no stranger to running a good class. Combining these two passions is a dream come true and I will do what ever I can to help all my students succeed.

About the lesson

Interested in beat making and thinking of becoming a producer? It can seem overwhelming at first, and may seem like an impossible task to get your ideas from your head, out the speakers.

Fear not, with me as your tutor you can expect tailor made lessons focusing on the genre of your choosing.

My teaching methods are focused on the needs of the individual. I try and keep my classes fun, engaging and packed with info.

My philosophy is, If your not eager to jump into your DAW to try out things we learned as soon as our lesson is finished, I'm doing something wrong.

You can expect to master the fundamentals of all aspects of producing ( sound design, Daw short-cuts, mixing ECT) and before long you will know your DAW ( and everything inside it) Inside out.

I have spend countless hour's creating Power points for every aspect related to Ableton and production ( knowing every audio effect and instrument inside out and basic music theory) so no matter your question expect to have a detailed answer and suppletory material to look over when the lesson is finished.
