About Nicole

Hello, I'm Nicole, a Pilates instructor with over 500 hours of comprehensive Pilates training, teaching balance-focused movement classes since 2020. My personalized sessions are designed to improve confidence, strength, posture, and everyday mobility in a supportive and relaxed environment.

I was a gymnast for 13 years, practiced yoga, and am now a runner and Pilates teacher. Fitness has always been a part of my life, and I understand the role of balance in everything we do. I love helping my students feel more confident performing all of their activities by connecting to and finding balance in their bodies.

About the lesson

In our classes, we will focus on balance and stability, using functional, low-impact movement and breath specific to the Pilates method. Our sessions will be highly personalized to your unique needs, abilities, and goals.

I have taught people of every age, size, and fitness level. Whether you are an athlete seeking better balance and stability, or someone looking to build the strength and confidence needed for everyday activities, balance should be a central part of your fitness goals.

To get the absolute most out of our live video sessions, we will use a few simple, highly effective props to safely support and challenge your body. For our regular schedule, you will need:

a comfortable fitness mat
a stable chair or surface
a Pilates Magic Circle (resistance ring)
a 9-inch Pilates Mini-Ball
high-quality flat resistance bands
(Bonus: a large fitness. ball is always a fun prop to incorporate if you have one)

These tools are important for either providing assistance or providing extra challenge to our movement.

Note: I am a comprehensive Pilates trainer. If you have a reformer in your home and have experience using it, I can and do teach a combination of mat and reformer classes. Due to the safety risk of using the reformer without the instructor present, you will be asked to sign a special liability waiver and classes will be taught at a beginner to intermediate level only.
