About Harsimar
I am a dedicated primary-level educator currently completing my Master of Teaching and Learning (Primary) in New Zealand. I bring a strong foundation in teaching through both local primary school experience, including a six-week placement in New Zealand, and several years of teaching experience in my home country, where I worked closely with children across different age groups and learning levels.
I chose teaching because I genuinely enjoy helping children grow in confidence, curiosity, and understanding. I believe every child learns differently, and my role as a teacher is to recognize those differences and support each learner with patience, care, and clear guidance. My teaching style is professional, organized, and student-focused, with lessons carefully planned to suit individual needs while aligning with the New Zealand Curriculum.
I am committed, reliable, and passionate about creating a safe and positive learning environment where students feel encouraged to ask questions, make mistakes, and succeed at their own pace. Through private tutoring, I aim to provide personalized support that helps students build strong foundations and a love for learning.

I offer private lessons in English and all primary subjects for junior and primary-level students.
My teaching approach is child-centred, supportive, and aligned with the New Zealand Curriculum, focusing on building confidence, understanding, and independence. A typical lesson lasts 45–50 minutes, with the option to extend up to one hour depending on the student’s learning speed and level of support required. I am patient, flexible, and committed to adapting lessons to help every learner feel comfortable, motivated, and capable.
