Experienced UK Qualified English Teacher (QTS, PGCE, CELTA) – Expert in Speaking & Fluency

James is an excellent teacher that supports students both in an outside of the classroom.

Students that are taught by James leave with enriched knowledge, exceptional personal development and a hunger to learn

James also prepares learning resources that engage all learners and makes adaptations so no learner has a barrier to learning.

I worked with James as a member of support staff at secondary school. James also offered me professional support when first working in the education.

Thomas Webb

James taught my son GCSE History in years 10 and 11. He also helped him with managing his revision tasks and schedule for exams.
In lessons, he would always make sure we are understanding the topic and would go over parts again if I or someone else was stuck.
Outside of lessons he was always happy to explain some important information in greater detail.
Overall he’s an understanding and patient teacher who is always supportive towards all students.

I worked alongside James for two years in secondary education. I am lucky to have had the privilege to line manage such an exceptional educator. As inspirational as he was diligent, he truly brought passion and aspiration to the classroom. He made exceptional progress with his students and always ensured that no one was left behind. He won’t just ensure you succeed, he will make sure you enjoy the journey too!

He used to be my history teacher and I never used to understand any of it but the way he broke it down for me made it understandable and fun🥹 he's also really funny and kind

I am Principal of Weavers Academy and having worked alongside James he is a dedicated professional who always remains child centred and has high standards academically and pastorally. We will certainly miss him and his contributions at our school.

I worked with James for two years and he was incredibly passionate about his work. He always put students first and played a huge role in improving the culture, helping to build a genuinely positive and supportive history department.
