About Jonathan
I am a Wildlife Conservationist by profession. I graduated with my Masters degree in this field from the University of Queensland in July 2018. However I am also a qualified musician holding qualifications in music theory and practicals from Trinity Guildhall London. I have been singing since I was 4 years old and playing the piano since I was five. I started off as high Soprano and have been singing high Tenor for the past ten years. I have been singing in many choirs since then and even founded an Acapella choir called the Walking Jukebox at Deakin University, Melbourne when I was reading for my Bachelor's degree . My forte is Acapella music and enjoy singing a lot of pop music.
I play the piano, organ, recorder and the Indian classical instrument the Veena. I am also a choir director and have trained choirs for the past 5 years. From February to May 2018 I sang classical music with the Brisbane Chamber Choir under the direction of UQ lecturer Graeme Morton. I also sang choral music with the Lucians choir (Christ Church, St. Lucia) under the direction of the internationally famous Australian organist Christopher Wrench from 2017-2018.
I am a fun, hardworking and very friendly person who loves teaching music both theory and practicals on the piano and training people to sing.

I teach people of all ages in music theory and practicals.
If you want to learn to play the piano or the recorder I can teach it to you from the basics. I can also teach you to sing and learn techniques on how to improve your voice range or learn to harmonise or to read music. I also teach music theory where you learn the building blocks which lead to great musical compositions. From my years of directing choirs I am happy to teach you how to sing in choirs and also train any small groups or choirs in pop, choral, classical music both Acapella and accompanied.
