About Clara

I am a perpetual student of history, economics, and politics based in Paris, France. I attended the School of International Service at the American University in Washington, D.C. before moving abroad to Cologne, Germany in 2015.

I speak English, German, and French and have used all three to explore primary documents, museums, and historical sites all over the European Continent.

I'm an experienced tutor in English Literature, ESOL, History, and am currently creating a syllabus to explore Media, Governance, and Development: The Caribbean and Diaspora Relations.

I am now based in Paris, France and available for webcam lessons via Zoom or Google Meet!

When sending your lesson request, please have your syllabus and course requirements ready. If you have purchased a specific study booklet to prepare, please let me know ASAP.

Option 1:

- A Helping Hand-

I would be happy to guide you through your Syllabus week by week, set study benchmarks, and help you find interesting and enriching ways to improve your learning experience!

If you’re looking for outside reading, and/or need a helping hand to guide you, I am happy to provide reading lists. I also have and can help you construct vocabulary and key terms lists for you to become familiar with as the test approaches.

Option 2:

-The Self Guided Student-

Sometimes all you need is someone to set you on the right path! I can help you break down your syllabus, provide structured study guides, breakdown essay those questions, and show you how to outline those essay questions on the day of the test.

By the end of our sessions, you may even be able to tutor others in the Subject yourself.

I keep lessons fun, entertaining, and light! Feel free to come to me with questions about:

- the coolest history Museums in Europe
- applying for college
- Plans for the future: Study abroad, deciding on a College Major, etc.
