About David

Teaching English is my passion because it opens doors to new opportunities, cultures, and connections. I love seeing my students’ confidence grow as they master the language, whether it’s acing an exam, landing a job, or simply having a conversation. Every student brings a unique story, and I enjoy tailoring lessons to their needs, making learning enjoyable and effective. Watching students overcome challenges and achieve success is incredibly rewarding, and I’m committed to creating a supportive environment where they can thrive. Helping others communicate and grow inspires me every day!

About the lesson

Having worked in China for more than 14 years, tutoring adults and children, my lessons are dynamic, student-centred, and focused on real-world communication. Using methods such as Communicative Language Teaching, I create an interactive environment where learners actively practise English. Sessions are 45 minutes, perfect for maximising focus and retention. I work with students of all ages and levels, ensuring progress through personalised support and continuous feedback.

David has been a teacher for me to learn English for 3 years here at China. To start I was beginner but now, although not perfect, I get so much confidence from his lessons, I can express my thoughts well! I'm very grateful for his help. He is great! Everyone needs to learn English with him!
