About Nour
For 25 years and 9 months, Arabic has always been my number one language, as it is my mother tongue.
I feel the words carry seem to hold more value and true meaning whenever they are expressed in Arabic, and that truly is the case.
My name is Nour, which means light in Arabic. I am Lebanese, living in California, and my aim is to help provide good knowledge about the Arabic language. Grammar, dictation, reading, and writing will be included in the sessions.
I provide you with the basic needed information, (if the student does not know Arabic at all).
I tutored in all 3 languages: Arabic, English, and French for children of all ages in Lebanon.
~I enjoy motivating students and encouraging them to believe in their abilities.

My typical process for working with a new student starts with speaking with the parents or the student and listening to what they need before I begin with breaking the ice.
I give time for the student to talk about themselves so I can create a better studying atmosphere so we do avoid any kind of tension that would lead to distraction and stress. The time usually varies based on the student's personality and characteristics. If any extra attention is required, extra attention will be given.
