About Jennifer

My service is legendary as I create memorable cooking classes. Each class is an innovative, hands-on experience where students learn and have fun doing so. I get results. Many are in awe at what they learn and their ability to duplicate what they learned again and again.

I enjoy helping others attain skills that they did not believe they could learn. Teaching different cuisines is always enjoyable as most times people don't believe they make their favorites at home!

Managing kitchens and food service operations gave me a start teaching. A big part of these jobs require training staff members on proper cooking techniques. I often received compliments as well as awards for my teaching and training abilities. I eventually landed a role as a corporate trainer. Ever since then, I have been teaching cooking techniques and food safety and sanitation classes.

I have a culinary arts degree from Southwest TN Community College. I have been working in the foodservice industry for 13 years and have a wealth of knowledge to share with my students. I am a certified educator through Johnson & Wales University. Aside from this, I have had over 2000 hours of professional development and training throughout my career.

About the lesson

I like to get know how comfortable my students are with being in the kitchen and go from there. I meet each student where they are and give the skills and techniques they need to know to achieve their desired outcome.

I have worked with people from every walk of life, culture, and religion. I have experience teaching children to elders and everyone in between.

I do not have a standardized pricing system for my classes. I like to work with students to offer a custom experience. I find people are different and like different things. I allow the flexibility for them to have it their way!
