About Amanda
I love working with my students one on one or in a group setting. I structure my teaching methods based on how my students pick-up and receive the information/steps that I'm teaching. I am extremely patient and encourage my students to ask questions!
I love teaching people to dance. Dancing can not be learned from a book and should be passed from one person to another! It fills me with pride when I see that my students are confident dancing to the music, moving around the dance floor, dancing their wedding dance or competing at a competition!
I have been teaching dance since I was a teenager. I have experience teaching ballet, tap, jazz, ballroom and latin.
I began competing professionally in June 2007. I have competed in more than 200+ competitions and 254 professional events. I have received top placements in the American Rhythm, American Smooth, and Showdance Divisions.

I am a Championship certified adjudicator with the North American Dance Teacher’s Association (NADTA) in International Latin, International Ballroom, American Rhythm, American Smooth and Theatrical Arts. I have been recognized as a National adjudicator with the National Dance Council of America (NDCA) and I'm member of the World Dance Council (WDC).
In addition to my many years of ballroom and latin dance training, I have a diverse dance background in ballet, jazz, tap and modern dance.
