Steph is an amazing dance instructor - she brings passion, high energy, and fun to all of her dance classes. Her excitement for dance translates into a fun experience for her students and always leaves me wanting to take more of her classes. I always leave so happy! Thanks to her day job as a teacher, she's incredibly gifted at breaking down technique and dance moves as well as coming up with fun ways for you to remember them! I started beginner level classes with her a year ago, and since taking many classes with many teachers, she's still one of the best I've teachers I've had in terms of providing a strong foundation in technique rather than just providing moves/patterns for her students.
I recently attended her bachata boot camp at Latin Dancer and had a blast. She did a great job breaking up the boot camp into focused parts of body movement and I learned a lot. At the end of the boot camp, she had each dancer pick two partners to dance with and record videos. She then had all who were interested submit the videos to her for personalized feedback. It was clear she spent a tremendous amount of time writing comments for us all. She surprised me by including an extensive list of positives in addition to a few things to work on. It was so helpful to have things to keep practicing as I continue to dance. Thanks, Steph!

One of my lifelong goals was to learn Spanish as I have been traveling the world and love connecting with others & cultures but due to the busy life and work balance,I never had the opportunity to proceed. Stephanie turned one of the worst times (pandemic) to the best time of accomplishing my lifelong goal. I really enjoyed every single minute of classes, follow-ups and homework to keep me and my classmates on track. Stephanie has made it extremely easy to access various class resources and online materials that have enabled me to remember what I previously knew, learn new information, and enhance my ability to speak Spanish, also within a short time frame. She has thoughtfully put together videos, includes fun game type platforms, sets up easy to navigate video conferencing, and pulls in interesting references and media from real life. Plus, she has a style of sharing this information that makes it all very easy to navigate. All of it has contributed to my being a more confident and engaged Spanish learner!

Adult Classes

I love working with Stephanie! Her classes are well structured, fun, and engaging. The topics are relevant to our lives and I can put them in practice quickly through reading and audio comprehension, speaking, and writing. Her assignments are consistently posted, our live classes are very interactive, and she uses many media (online quizzes, videos, etc) to keep us moving. Her energy is contagious and I’ve never laughed and learned so much in such a short time in a language class. I highly recommend taking classes with her.
