About Karita

I teach and coach ballroom dance lessons to students of all ages. If you have a group of people willing to learn a new, fun, and engaging way of life, I can organize a group lesson for you. I teach also private lessons for individuals and couples.

I love the combination of being able to teach new skills, techniques, and at the same time introduce people of all ages to the wonderful world of dancing.

I started to teach already during my own active competitive dance career. I've always enjoyed sharing my love for dancing, and working with students of all ages and skill levels.

I have danced as an amateur and as a professional for over 30 years. My professional and technical training is done in England with the International Dance Teachers' Association. I have been teaching over 30 years around the world, and during my active dance career won the National title for 15 times, and was the finalist in both the European and World Championships.

About the lesson

I work with students of all ages and skill levels. Ballroom dancing provides a great combination of physical exercise, enjoyment of music, and mental concentration and activity.

I have worked with students of all ages from 3 years to 80 years old. I have been teaching dancers during their first ever experience with dancing and dancers, who were preparing for a World Championships. Ballroom dancing can be a wonderful hobby or you can challenge yourself both physically and mentally.
i have worked with big groups and also in a private lesson setting with individuals and couples.
