About Ilayjah
I am an extremely talented and passionate teacher dedicated to my students improvement and success. I am able to adjust to the needs of my students rather than sticking to what’s easiest for me.
I love teaching because I am able to put back into the world the positivity I have received from dance.
I have been dancing since the age of 4. I was a competitive dancer at Dance World Academy for 12 years. After graduation I went on to train at Alvin Ailey American Dance Theatres Certificate Program in New York City. Since I have performed around the world and with countless choreographers such as Rochelle Rak and Adam Murray. I then began teaching in the New York New Jersey area.
