About Camryn
I have been dancing since I was three years old and genuinely love to dance. I want to help others find that and prosper in dance. I've been teaching for almost five years and have experience with kids ranging in ages 2-10 and teenagers. I'm also a BFA dance major at Temple University, where I'm earning a degree to perform and teach. This is my life and I want to share it with others
I love teaching dance to children because I love being able to watch them grow not only as dancers but as a person. It's an amazing feeling to watch someone understand what they're learning and be able to find their own love for it.
I started student teaching at my studio when I was a freshman in high school and did that up until I graduated. I also started teaching my own ballet/tap combo class my senior year of high school. In the summer for the past four years I have run a dance camp that teaches ballet, tap, jazz, lyrical, and hip-hop to kids ranging in ages 3-10.
I've been dancing since I was three years old in all forms of dance and I'm going to be a senior dance major at Temple University.

My typical process definitely depends on the students age and level but I have a set structure for when I teach. I will warmup with the children, do barre(if it's ballet), something in center, across the floor, and a combination to learn to end the class. Also I would introduce new material when I think the student is ready to learn it.
I have worked with children ranging in ages 3-10, pre teens, and teenagers. I have worked with children who have no experience in dance, have some training in dance, and students who have been training for years.
