Experienced tutor in Dance in Homosassa, Mapuana Kaleoaloha offers private lessons tailored to your needs.

Very caring about everyone. Patient in the time it takes to convey so much material that comprises a complex style of dance.

Kumu works with my schedule, answers all of my questions, provides more than Hula (crafts, language, history and cultural content). Instruction in meaning of movements, how and when to perform them, a love for preserving and promoting Hula and Hawaiian history and culture.

Kumu is absolutely professional and has a passion for what she does that is evident in every lesson I have ever had with her. She teaches the dances but more than that she educates her students on the history and meaning behind every single thing that is done. She is the epitome of what I believe Kumu to be. She is amazing!

The instructor is inspiring, encouraging, takes the time to explain & demonstrate each movement clearly, and shares her excitement and love for Polynesian culture. This class is FUN, and it involves more exercise than I thought it would. Imagine Tai Chi + ballet + ballroom dance (without the partner!). I highly recommend it!
