About Andrea
I began dance classes at the age of 2. While growing up I studied Ballet, Pointe, Jazz, Lryical, Flaminco, and tap. I developed a love of dance and began teaching in 2008. Over the past 12 years I've worked for 6 dance studios in San Antonio and the surrounding hill country. I'm a certified Progressive Ballet Technique teacher. I also enjoy taking classes and attending dance conventions to further my education. I currently teach students as young as 3 and up to 20 years old. I would love the opportunity to help anyone start dance classes or help current dancers further their skills and technique.
Dance brings joy. I love dancing myslelf and I love seeing my students learn and achive new goals. It is truly my passion in life and I feel so lucky that I've been able to make a career out of doing what I love.
Teaching for the past 12 years I teach over 1,000 hours a year. I've been able to attend Ballet Magnificats ballet intensive twice. Once as a student and once as a teacher. I earned my Progressive Ballet Technique certification 2 years ago and am currently working on more certifications with PBT. I contimue to take dance classes myself on a consistent basis. I belive there is always more to learn in dance.
