Mr. Drew's calm demeanor created a very warm team-building atmosphere for the adult ensemble. I joined the group with a history playing solo piano and singing solos. Learning to play with a group; taking my cues from the sheet music and the visual and auditory signs from my fellow performers was very new to me. Mr. Drew was a very patient teacher during this process, and clearly proved his knowledge regarding music history and teaching skills and overall passion regarding percussion.
