About Amr
1- Constant blending the economic concepts practical problems. presenting the topic and working on the practice problems until I am sure that the student thoroughly understand the topic being taught.
2- Paying undivided attention to student concerns and to student progress in learning the material being tutored.
3- More than 10 years teaching college level economics with emphasis on microeconomics, macroeconomics, econometrics, and statistics. This is coupled with more than 8 years of actual business experience in the banking industry. This result in maximizing the value of the teaching service provided to students who are provided with valuable links between conceptual topics and their practical applications from the actual business sector.
I enjoy teaching economics very much. I derive joy from making students understand abstract economics concepts via providing practical examples, working numeric problems, and explaining using graphs.
The most rewarding aspect of my work is when I see my tutored students improve their grades, end up with As or Bs as final course grades, and get deep understanding of the economic concepts being tutored.
