Hello! My name is John Vermilyea, and I believe I would be an exceptional tutor because of my personal journey through education. My time teaching English as a Second Language in South Korea allowed me to understand the nuances of different learning styles and cultures. My Bachelor's degree in English from the University of Alabama represents my deep-rooted passion for the subject. Years of tutoring experience at both high school and college levels have shown me the profound impact one-on-one teaching can have. Currently, as I near the completion of my Master's in English literature, I'm not just studying, but indulging in my love for literature. It's my personal commitment to education, combined with these diverse experiences, that makes me confident in my ability to guide and support your student on their educational journey.
