About Jasmine
Improving your English doesn't have to be intimidating! I'm Jasmine and I'm 33 years old. I live in North Carolina and I'm a native speaker of American English. I'm here to give you (or your child) online English lessons, and my teaching style is casual and relaxed with a little humor to make things fun.
I've worked as a freelance copywriter for over five years, and through that work, I've built strong skills in vocabulary and grammar. But I'm not just a writer -- I have English teaching experience too. For over three years, I taught English online to children in China ages four to fourteen. (I worked with VIPKID, GOGOKID, and SayABC.) Also, I currently volunteer for a program called ENGin, which has given me the opportunity to help Ukrainian young adults with their conversational English.
In the past, I worked at Kumon Math and Reading Center, where I tutored kids ages three through five in basic reading skills. Some of those kids were native English speakers and some weren't. Regardless, it was amazing to help them learn to read for the first time.
I love writing, reading, and learning about world cultures. Let's get to know each other so I can help you learn English!
