About Mr Lee
At the heart of my teaching has been the aim to inspire students to greater expressive use of English. Any instance of ideas and feelings precisely and elegantly expressed in this language never fails to please me, as does witnessing students do so to their own satisfaction. The thought that what I have learned and been impressed with about English, especially through literary studies, can be usefully applied to all forms of communication, and that I am engaged with its fresh and original use every time I help students respond to a topic of discussion keeps me going as teacher.

With my personal experience of British people and literature, I have been attempting to forge a kind of English tuition that is culturally and interculturally informing and relevant at the same time to the various practical learning purposes of students. You can expect to gain in each lesson a concise, in-depth presentation on 1-2 literary writers' artistic achievement or on a key topic for a literary period. Your personal response to the presentation can form the basis of your written work for that lesson.
