About Amber
I am a full time elementary school teacher. This is my 20th year in the profession. I have taught grades 1, 2, and 5. I am currently teaching gifted classes to 4th-6th graders. My master's degree is in literacy, so I specialize with reading and writing skills. I also have an English as a second language endorsement, so I am happy to work with English language learners from kids to adults.
I am available to teach online lessons on a flexible schedule. I am a single mother, so would be available evenings and some weekends when my daughter is with her father. In person tutoring is also possible if local. I reside in Downers Grove.
