About Richard
I found a love for tutoring and helping students attain their full academic potential almost 5 years ago now. In high school, I was initially paired up with classmates and peers struggling across a variety of subjects. Since then, I have seized any opportunities to enrich the learning of students, whether it be 3rd grade multiplication or college-level cell biology.
Now, as a student studying at Cornell University, I have only deepened my understanding across these subjects and command a broad understanding of K-12 content as well as college material in biology, statistics, psychology, literature, writing, and much more.
I pride myself on understanding the unique struggles and learning styles of every student, treating every lesson as an opportunity for individual growth and academic development. Education should be guidance, teaching students how to find answers and draw conclusions on their own with the safety net of a tutor to fall back on.
