About Sarah
Hey, I’m a secular homeschooler who has a lot of experience working with neurodiverse kiddos who require redirection, motivation, and engagement. These skills are a positive attribute when working with anyone, but have been tested by the most hyperactive, uninterested, and distracted of boys.
I’d love to use my nerdy love of words and my hard-won ability to create a bridge from lesson to learner to teach students other than my own.
I believe education isn’t an institution. Learning how to learn is most important, valued above fact memorization and test scores. When we prioritize understanding, we leave no other options than success.
For those who have a hard time paying attention, keeping a working memory, or finding motivation, I’d love to help.
