My career in education has been defined by a commitment to student growth at every level. I began my journey as a Teaching Assistant and have worked my way up to my current role as a STEAM Instructor in South LA, serving communities that need dedicated support. My experience is broad and deep: I have successfully taught elementary, middle, and high school students, as well as college-level learners.
My Approach: Immersive and Paced
Hands-On Learning (Immersive): I don’t believe in just memorizing facts. I make learning immersive by connecting STEAM concepts to the real world. Whether we are working on complex equations or creative writing, I help students see the "big picture" so the knowledge stays with them long-term.
The Right Speed for You (Paced): Every student learns differently. Because I’ve worked with everyone from young children to college adults, I am an expert at "pacing." I adjust the speed of our lessons in real-time—slowing down to master difficult foundations and picking up the tempo once you feel confident.
Why We Should Work Together:
Experience Across All Ages: I understand the unique challenges of every grade level, from early phonics to advanced college coursework.
Community-Focused: My work in South LA has taught me how to be a mentor and an advocate for my students, not just a teacher.
Proven Results: I focus on building both academic skills and the personal confidence needed to tackle any subject.
No matter where you are in your educational journey, I am here to provide the steady, expert guidance you need to succeed. Let’s get started!
