About Stacey
Hi There! My name is Stacey Lawrence and I am a veteran high school English teacher, author, editor & adjunct professor. I am cerified K-12 in English, Theater and Speech.
My poetry was short-listed for the Fish Prize in 2019/2021 & nominated for a Pushcart Prize in 2022. I love nature and I am a poet for Writing The Land, a collaboration between poets & protected land. My first collection of poems, “Fall Risk'' was released in August 2021 through Finishing Line Press. I am currently working on my second collection.
I enjoy helping students become better writers and am I am well-versed in using students experiences to influence your work.
I am excellent in grammar, spelling, capitalization and word choice. I have been editing student college essays, written analysis, creative prose and poetry for over 25 years and I edit poetry manuscripts. I pride myself on my patience and enjoy working with students whose English is a second language. I am available now and can work with students of any age.
