I treat my students as individuals and work with them to design a process that works according to their pace. I take the time to understand their points of reference and assess at what level I need to help them. I also assess which topics I need to cover properly. I encourage my students to identify with mathematical concepts in their own way. This method has proven to help succeed with the subject in the long term and not for the problem they are solving. Other elements I focus on are speed of calculation and accuracy of results.
