I started working out with Alberto Torres in Summer 2014. I was a chunky high school kid who was looking to lose a few pounds and get in better shape, the only problem was that I hated going to the gym(mainly because I felt like I was being judged). I walked into Alberto's first class and he transformed my entire perspective on fitness. Not only did I gain a new love of fitness, I gained an entire fit family too. Everyone at the Inner Circle is so nice friendly and motivational! There's no room for negativity in the inner circle which makes for the best experience. I have since been able to take what I have learned from Alberto and adapt it to my busy lifestyle when I cannot make it to a class. Joining the inner circle was by far the best decision I have ever made! Would recommend to anyone, any age, any skill level looking to make a change in their life!

Alberto has a way of making you feel comfortable when you're feeling quite vulnerable. He motivates me to be a better person in all aspects of my life, especially fitness. He's an all around good guy who has dedicated his life to making others healthier and helping them to reach their physical goals. He's worth every penny!!

Every single time I train with Alberto I walk away feeling like I've made progress. Each class is different, tough, and overall fun. Despite the inner circle being a class Alberto still pays attention to each individual for instruction and support. I look forward to working out with the inner circle crew every chance I get and I highly reccomend it to anyone looking to become more serious about their fitness.

Every class was a different work out and wasn’t repetitive . The inner Circle Fitness is challenging , competitive , and fun ! Ridiculous fun! Alberto is an epic level coach. I'm a highly seasoned coach myself and very rarely do I meet someone that I can learn from. Grappling, throwing hands, or dealing with kicks... He is a remarkable example of what martial arts is all about.
Beginner to advanced.

As someone who is not a physically fit guy, I had my reservations about beginning BJJ. After speaking with Alberto, and expressing my concerns he put me a ease and made sure we began training on my level. Starting slowly, repeating and recapping techniques and providing positive and negative specific feedback were some of the ways that he helped me begin learning and progressing in BJJ. He's very experienced and a knowledgeable instructor that goes beyond BJJ. Not only that, but he's just an easy going nice guy. Someone I'm happy to know and bump into.

A great balance of work and fun. It has a fantastic and supportive atmosphere, and is always very welcoming to any fitness and experience level. Instructor is incredibly knowledgeable and dedicated, and is always willing to offer input, criticism, or extra aid when asked. I've received better one on one instruction here than direct personal training, despite only taking advantage of the group setting. The rate is also incredibly low considering the number of classes and quality of service. Would highly recommend this service to anyone looking to push themselves.

With his immense amount of knowledge in regards to overall health and fitness, the inner circle is a perfect place for people to come and leave their heart and efforts in the gym! Alberto is a great guy who is determined to get the most out of you when you sign up for any of his one on one classes or group classes. Incredibly charismatic and hands on he is a one of a kind person and getting the chance to train with him at inner fitness is worth every cent. All in all I give inner circle fitness a 10 out of 10.

I love working out with Bert! He is an amazing trainer, teacher, and person. Being born with Spina Bifida, I have a few physical limitations that I don’t like to tell people about let alone have them see. Bert has never once made me feel like I couldn’t do something or embarrassed to try. The workouts he set ups are challenging but fun. In just a few weeks I have done things I never thought I could do, would have tried to do on my own, or felt comfortable enough to do in another gym. I feel stonger, more athletic and I feel super lucky to have him coaching me!

I had never done group exercise prior to Inner Circle and was completely intimidated and nervous when I signed up. The fear of and wondering if I would be able to keep up with the other members of the class, the what if I looked like a crazy person and was a disaster, or what if it just wasn’t for me? Well, Inner Circle is/was a life changing class and joining was one of the BEST decisions I have ever made. Alberto, the trainer, is not only professional and very motivating, but he really takes his time on focusing on proper body mechanics and always has alternative moves for beginners or individuals with injuries. Although it is a group activity you really feel as though you have your own personal trainer. I began Inner Circle prior to my first pregnancy and I rejoined after 8 weeks post baby, and was able to lose all and then some of my 40 lbs of “baby weight.” I wouldn’t have been able to do it without this class. It doesn’t matter at what level you join this class, you will work hard, get better, and feel better. It’s an incredible group of people with a great leader. I couldn’t recommend this anymore!

I liked working with Alberto at Inner Circle Fitness. He’s very knowledgeable and it shows! He creates tough and well rounded workouts. Although I personally can never get enough leg and glute workouts! I have never worked one on one with him. I have only been in the class setting. But the classes are tough enough. He’s attentive and wants to make sure you have good form to prevent injury. I would definitely recommend him.

Alberto really knows how to push you past the limitations you set on yourself. When you feel like you’re done and you don’t have any more in you, he finds a way to show you how much more you really do have. These workouts don’t just strengthen your body, but they strengthen your mind as well.

Alberto’s knowledge of Brazilian jiu jitsu is second to none. Most important to me is that he presents it in a way that is direct, easy to understand and he even shows you tweaks that would otherwise take you vast amounts of time and frustration to figure it out on your own. Great instructor and a helluva practitioner!

Workouts focus on functional movements, which makes everyday life much easier. If you train consistently at least 3-4 times a week with Inner Circle Fitness, you will see other areas of your life improve, such as work performance, sleep patterns, etc.

The biggest positive to working with Alberto and Inner Circle is the positive atmosphere. Regardless of who you are, first day or day thousand everyone is treated like a member of the family and the over all encouraging nature is warm and inviting. At Inner Circle is no one gets an inch. Everything you do and work toward you are pushed the entire way. You’re never left to be I side you’re own head doubting if you can finish a workout or keep going. There’s someone always over you, talking you through it and pushing you further.

The equipment condition and cleanliness is second to none and on time promptness of Alberto is an amazing asset to have in the fitness world, reliability is rare these days!
