About Megan
I am a certified elementary teacher with 5 + years of teaching experience and 12 + years of working with children (ages 2-17). I have two college degrees, which include a Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education and a Master's Degree in Reading Instruction. My specific experiences in working with students include teaching in first and second grade classrooms and working as a private reading tutor for over two years.
Since I, myself, am passionate about literacy, my goal is to help students become life-long readers. I hope to use my skills in teaching phonics, letter recognition and comprehension to help students excel in their ability to decode a variety of texts.
